Montana
Boris was born and raised in Saginaw
Michigan. She grew up familiar with
the medical field due to her mother
having multiple sclerosis. At the
age of 16, Montana was involved in a
fatal car accident that made her
realize she wanted to work in the
healthcare setting. She became an
EMT while applying to dental hygiene
school. During her dental hygiene
program at Ferris State University,
she realized how strong her desire
was to work in the medical field.
She won the Premier Table Clinic
Award for “The Need for Dental
Professionals in the Hospital”.
After completing dental hygiene
school, she began working towards
applying to Wayne State’s Physician
Assistant Program. During that time,
she volunteered multiple times a
year providing dental services to
the physically and mentally
handicap.
She is
currently graduation chair of the PA
class of 2020 and is actively
organizing the classes graduation.
She has future plans of giving
presentations on the connection
between the oral cavity and the
body. She would also love to
continue to volunteer her time to
helping those without insurance. In
her free time, she loves horseback
riding, disc golf, traveling,
camping, riding ATVs, and hanging
out with friends. |
