department. She also received
nurse aid certification and began
working as a patient care technician
on a cardiothoracic surgery
progressive care unit. While gaining
medical experience, she also coached
color guard at the high school and
collegiate level.
Since
2013 she has been volunteering for
the Salvation Army in the food
pantry and with the red kettle
campaign. She enjoys giving back to
her community in any way that she is
able and looks forward to serving
her community as a PA in the future.
She is
humbled and honored to receive this
